About us...

An ensemble of 12-16 singers singing SATB sacred music, Schola Cantorum of Falmouth was founded in February 2002 by Pat Harcourt, Kevin Chu, and Oliver, Susan and Paula Muldoon with the original intention of singing sacred Renaissance music at Catholic Church services.  The ensemble later converted to a concert choir, although individual members continue to strive to bring this wonderful music to the church services for which it was composed.

Our mission is to promote and sing sacred music from the Renaissance.

Amateurs in the true sense of the word, our singers come from a wide range of background: students, scientists, parents, and retirees. Members have included singers from such far-flung places as Croatia, Scotland, England, Finland, Germany, Holland, Ireland, the Philippines and Woods Hole.
