From Peter Lea-Cox: "This programme will focus on music from the early C16 - early C17th, reflecting the changing face of English liturgical reform with special emphasis on the Office of Evensong."
Printing and Preparing the Sheet Music
1. The music is to be printed on both sides not only to save save weight in a long concert but also for simultaneous page-turns. Two-page pieces have a cover-page so as to eliminate the page turn. DO NOT try to save paper by combining a last page of one piece with the first one of another...keep them separate as the director may change the order.
2. Two-sided printer: If you can use one of these, it'll be a lot simpler...but don't choke the printer! The music will print out exactly as it should, and you only have to hole-punch the resulting pile of paper to align eveything.
3. One-sided printer:
If your printer can print every odd or even page [check PRINTER OPTIONS], you can turn the pile upside down and do the other sides. CAUTION: Make sure the pile is in its proper order!
If your printer can't print every odd or even page, try to find one that does, as it's a bit of a chore feeding them in individually. Call Oliver 508 566-4045 if in difficulty on this.
5. If a piece does not have printed measure numbers, WRITE THEM IN WITH SUFFICIENT FREQUENCY.
6. Disregard any page numbers on the bottom...we work with measure numbers.
7. Consider writing in the 1st note of the next line after the last note on the preceding line. The arrow is to remind one that it's the next note after the page-turn. Ex. B→ (Personal note from Oliver...this works for a musically-dyslectic like me!)
